South Coast Flora is a family-owned wholesale propagation nursery located on the beautiful South Coast of New South Wales. For over 30 years, we’ve specialised in growing high-quality native tubestock, with a strong focus on species native to South East NSW.

Founded by Merryn Carey in the early 1990’s, her daughter Heather has now joined the team to help carry forward a shared passion for local plants and propagation.

We focus on using locally collected seed to ensure local provenance and maintain genetic diversity, making our plants well-suited to the region’s unique environment. Many of the species we grow aren’t widely available commercially, giving our customers access to hard-to-find natives.

In addition to native plants, we also propagate a selected range of Australian bush food plants, as well as exotic fruits, nuts, and berries that thrive in the South Coast climate.
